Learn & Play Project

Today Melissa shared about penguins and polar bears with the kids at Learn & Play. The kids were able to play with fake snow in order to get the feel of the penguin and polar bear’s habitat. Melissa does a fantastic job of mixing fun with learning new things, the kids are always excited to come back! Here is a schedule for Learn & Play until May, mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on all the fun!

KANSAS READS TO PRESCHOOLERS

The Kansas Reads to Preschoolers 2013 book “DOGS COLORFUL DAY” by Emma Dodd will be read to preschoolers by Sublette Mayor Jery Bailey. This special storytime will be held at 10:30 Friday, November 22. All children will receive a copy of this delightful children’s book.

Kansas Reads to Preschoolers is an annual event that promotes reading to all Kansas children from birth to age five. Through the statewide program, parents, librarians and caregivers are encouraged to read the chosen title during the selected week.This program is sponsored by the State Library of kansas.

“DOGS COLORFUL DAY” will be available for checkout.
